Owners Kenneth and Diane Heffel
Soon after earning a college business degree in 1967, Ken began his Vienna career as a bookkeeper. Before long he was overseeing administrative responsibilities and eventually he and his wife, Diane, became owners of Vienna. Ken’s commitment to a quality operation continues since his unofficial “retirement” in 1987, and you’ll often see him around the facility, talking with residents and employees he hired more than 25 years ago. Ken is an active member of the Fairmont Seventh-Day Adventist Church and for many years he’s held leadership roles with community organizations including Lodi Memorial Hospital’s board and executive committee, Lodi Lions Club, Lodi Academy and Lodi Elementary. He’s been active in the California Association of Health Facilities (CAHF) and received its Distinguished Service Award for his dedication to the long-term care profession. You’ll find many of Ken’s travel photographs throughout Vienna’s halls.
