Vienna Nursing & Rehabilitation Center Accomplishes
5-Star Rating, Zero Deficiencies for Golden Survey

Fall 2016

5-Star Quality Rating

Vienna Nursing & Rehabilitation Center continues to maintain its 5-Star rating (the highest rating possible) from the national Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) after its most recent survey in October of 2016.

Golden Survey for Zero Deficiencies

The 5-Star rating is based on Vienna’s annual reviews for health inspections, staffing, and quality measures. Not only did Vienna once again earn all five stars, inspectors also found zero deficiencies, making this a Golden Survey. For the 2016 Survey, The Department of Public Health performed its annual federal regulatory inspection alongside the state’s inspection. With all nine inspectors evaluating Vienna for a four-day period, not one deficiency was found.

The 5-Star Quality Rating System was created to help consumers, their families, and caregivers compare nursing homes more easily and help identify areas about which you may want to ask questions. We encourage you to discuss this rating with our administrators. Vienna also always encourages, no matter what, families visit a facility and meet with staff in person before making a decision about where to place a loved one.

A detailed explanation is maintained at Vienna and is made available upon request. It also can be accessed online at the Nursing Home Compare website.
